A 1964 original movie poster for crime thriller. Directed by Basil Dearden and starring Gina Lollobrigida and Sean Connery. It was written by Robert Muller and Stanley Mann, adapted from the 1954 novel La Femme de paille by Catherine Arley. Richmond (Connery) schemes to bag the vast fortune of his wheelchair-bound tycoon uncle (Richardson), by persuading Nurse Maria (Lollobrigida) to marry him and then use her to get to the old man, but becomes the prime suspect when his uncle suddenly dies.
