Fair Condition Original Release UK British Quad Movie Poster - The Reptile (1966), Noel Willman, Jacqueline Pierce, Jennifer Daniel, Ray Barrett, Michael Ripper, John Gilling, Hammer Horror, Indian Curse, Snake Woman. First the good news: Here is a striking original British UK Quad movie poster from the first release of Hammer Films', The Reptile. This movie was part of Hammer's cost savings attempt to film two features back-to-back using basically the same casts and settings. It was quite a successful experiment with both this and Plaque Of The Zombies best two of the studio's most memorable films. Now for the not-so-good news: This quad poster does have a number of condition issues stemming from areas of paper loss in four sections of the poster.

It appears that a previous owner punched small holes in a small section of the poster while it was folded (see photo of reverse side of poster) so now when the poster is opened you can see holey areas in 4 places. The other good news is that because most of the damage occurred in the black background of the artwork, it could probably be easily restored. Linenbacking and minor restoration will make this quad look like new.

A good deal of small areas of paper loss in the 4 quadrants. Untrimmed and in otherwise strong condition.

Bright day-glo green and black color would make for an easy restoration. Please see photos for all condition issues.
