THE DIRTY DOZEN (1967) original U. Measures nominal quad size of approx 30 x 40 inches. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew Nottingham. Fantastic artwork by Frank McCarthy, which apparently was the inspiration for Tom Chantrell's famous Star Wars quad poster art.

This poster is from the first UK release of the film in 1967 - (the 1970s re-release has the wording'Distributed by Cinema International Corporation' in the bottom left-side corner, and the quote in the top-left section is positioned lower). There are many Dirty Dozen quads for sale, but most are re-releases - obviously the first release quads are scarcer and more desirable to own. Overall condition - very good. Some minor cross-fold separation, some minor (under 5mm) border edge-fold separation and wear in places. Two tears right side border edge, approx 3mm and 10mm. Couple of nicks bottom border edge. Writing on the reverse which slightly shows through to the front if held up to the light. I have taken several photos so that all areas of the poster can be viewed in detail.
