Here is one of the mainstay posters in the Star Wars collecting hobby: A BONA FIDE ORIGINAL 1980 Star Wars THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK British Quad. The National Screen Service issued this British 30x40 inch poster back in 1980. This poster was originally issued to replace the "Gone With the Wind" style advance quad in the UK.

It has become a mainstay must-have throughout the Star Wars poster collecting community as it has gained in popularity over the past 40 years. This poster features the fantastic Tom Jung art that was designed for the primary UK campaign when the film first came out.

This poster is actually dated 1979 (see photo #4) but came out in 1980. THIS IS 100% GUARANTEED ORIGINAL RARE 1980 PRINTING. This fantastic lithograph is in unprecedented MINTY MINT ORIGINAL UNRESTORED CONDITION! Thats because I obtained this amazing specimen in 1980 shortly after the National Screen Service issued it. They originally manufactured it folded, but, immediately upon taking possession of it, I stored it flat between acid-free paper, and so the folds have long since flattened-out and have become nearly invisible, as the poster has been only opened once over 40 years ago!
