And what a double-feature this is! Extremely rare original UK cinema quad movie poster for the double-bill showing of'The Rocky Horror Picture Show' and'The Phantom of the Paradise', two of the best-loved horror/sci-fi themed campy musicals ever!

This quad is printed in black, white and day-glo orange, and shows illustrations from both films. Phantom was first released in cinemas in 1974, and Rocky Horror in 1975. In 1976 Fox Studios paired the two together for double-bill screenings in movie theatres in the U.

And this is around the time this British quad would date to. Overall condition - fairly good. Displays well as can be seen. Some age-related discolouration to the white areas of the paper which has'browned' to a certain extent, some marks and stains (the worst being in the "Miss it if you dare" box area), wear to the folds and edges, pin-holes in the corners, a few nicks and surface-creases. Writing on reverse which doesn't affect the front. I have taken several photos so that all areas of the poster can be viewed in detail. Please also see photos for your own appraisal of the general condition. Whilst obviously not in perfect condition please bear in mind just how incredibly rare this poster is. I've owned a few stand-alone quads of both films over the years, both of which are pretty scarce, but this double-bill poster is by far the rarest of the lot, and I for one have never seen another.

Quite frankly, it's beyond rare. A definite collector's piece. Poster has been folded in the past but stored rolled. The fold lines are quite soft, so as not to put any more stress on them the poster will be posted rolled inside a sturdy tube. It will be carefully packed with'Fragile' tape on the outside.
