ARABESQUE (1966) original rare 1st release UK quad movie poster Gregory Peck Sophia Loren. Measures nominal quad size of approx 30 x 40 inches.

Printed by England by Charles & Read Ltd. Fantastic looking poster with artwork by Robert Mcginnis that really captures the look of the psychedelic sixties for this American comedy thriller spy film. This quad is from the first release of the poster in 1966.

On the more common later re-release the figures are mainly monochrome, whereas on this poster they are in full colour, most noticeably Sophia Loren's legs and yellow boots. The first release poster is not only better looking but also far scarcer. Overall condition - fairly good. Displays well as can be seen.

Several pin-holes to corners and also a couple in the main body. Some edge-wear and small edge-tears in places. The name of the film is written on the back in felt pen and this has bled through to the front beneath the word'MYSTERY!

Luckily it blends in a bit with the poster pattern and is not too distracting from the overall image. I have taken several photos so that all areas of the poster can be viewed in detail. Please see photos for a visual appraisal of the general condition.

With the not too serious defects it has it is priced much lower accordingly. Will be posted as originally folded and very carefully packed in an extra-stiffened envelope/parcel.
