Up for sale here, is an original.. This is an original UK quad cinema poster from 1974 featuring the vaguely S&M themed image of Charlotte Rampling from the film. The Night Porter is a 1974 Italian erotic psychological war drama film co-written and directed by Liliana Cavani. It stars Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling, with Philippe Leroy, Gabriele Ferzetti, and Isa Miranda in supporting roles.

Set in Vienna in 1957, the film centres on the sadomasochistic relationship between a former Nazi concentration camp officer (Bogarde) and one of his inmates (Rampling). The film's themes of sexual and sadomasochistic obsession, and its use of Holocaust imagery, have made the film controversial since its initial release, dividing critics over its artistic value. This fantastic piece of film memorabilia is the original UK poster that was sent to cinemas folded, and as befitting it's age, is has a few marks around the edges - specifically brown adhesive marks on the corners where it has been taped to display and a small tear on the bottom edge. There are no tears along the fold lines, and overall it is in very good condition.

This would make a perfect addition to any film poster collection or for a collector looking to add a slightly r isqué vintage touch to their home.
