STAR WARS EMPIRE STRIKES BACK 1980 ORIGINAL BRITISH QUAD 30x40 MOVIE POSTER ESB

  

Vintage original British movie poster. British QUAD size, oblong, approx 40" wide x 30" high. Poster is bright shiny and clean as seen from front.

There is very light wear to the corners and edges. Some very light discoloration around the edges from age, only really visible from the back. The poster was exposed to damp at some point while rolled, enough to lightly stain the part of the back which was exposed, but not enough to soak into the poster and not enough to be noticeable from the front (there is faint discoloration to the area under the movie title/logo, including some of the credits, but it is pretty faint and mostly disguised by the artwork). There is a small scratch on the back side which ends in a spot that is almost a pinhole, but does not show from the front (it is in the area of the farthest right TIE bomber under Vader's cape). The poster was stored rolled, but at some point some weight was allowed to rest on the roll, so the poster has a vertical curling pattern that will take some time / effort to flatten out.

Luckily, there is no actual creasing to the poster from this, as seen in pics it is just wavy and not creased. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say this poster rates a SOLID 7 OR BETTER, noting the damp marks and the need to flatten it out.
