(1965) very rare original UK cinema quad movie poster - THE BEATLES. Measures standard UK quad size of approx 30 x 40 inches. Very rare original 1965 first-release cinema poster for the movie'Help! This was the second film outing for The Beatles and the poster features John, Paul, George and Ringo doing semaphore poses in a similar look to the album covers, but this time each'standing' on a huge letter from the word'HELP'. It is interesting to note that the Fab Four are not actually spelling out the word'HELP', but the letters'NVUJ'. This was because the photographer Robert Freeman deemed that semaphore pose to be graphically better-looking! Some small areas of age-related paper browning in places. Title and date written in pen on reverse and slightly shows through to the front. I have taken several photos so that all areas of the poster can be viewed in detail. Please also see photos for your own appraisal of the general condition. Will be carefully packed and posted as originally folded in an extra-stiffened envelope/parcel. It goes without saying that any original Beatles movie posters are very scarce and very desirable.
