Up for sale here, is an original.. BLUE WATER WHITE DEATH (1971). This is an original UK quad cinema poster from the mid 1970's. Blue Water, White Death is a 1971 American documentary film about sharks, which was directed by Peter Gimbel and James Lipscomb. It received favourable reviews and was described as a "well produced odyssey and "exciting and often beautiful.

Considering that the 1971 release would have been unlikely to have the budget for variant posters, the likelihood is that this was produced for a re-release of the film to cash in on the popularity of'Jaws' in the mid-70's. This fantastic piece of film memorabilia is an original UK poster that was sent to cinemas folded, and as befitting it's age, it has a few marks around the edges - specifically brown adhesive marks on the corners where it has been taped to display and several small tears on the right hand bottom edge, a larger tear on the bottom left fold line and a very small hole in the very centre of the fold lines. However, overall it is in very good condition. This would make a perfect addition to any film poster collection or for a collector looking to add a slightly wild vintage touch to their home.
