Which in my opinion is the greatest Sci-Fi film of it's kind ever made. Are you a like minded afficionado and collector of Alien and other related material? Perhaps you're looking for an Alien quad which you'd like to have to fulfill a life time ambition, to cherish, admire, and appreciate not just as one of the most iconic images in cinematic art but also to have an item of film memorabilia that is pleasing on the eye?

If you are then this could be for you? This poster was - has been - in my private collection for a very long time; in fact it's one of several I've had over the years and as a spare unwanted one I decided I wanted to produce an exhibit that did and still does pay homage to this year's 40th anniversary of the film. This listing is a result of my decision to mount and frame a commemorative piece for that occasion and from the scans I think you'll agree it - thanks to my excellent picture framer - presents absolutely....

However this is NOT - I must emphasise ISN'T - an investment piece because the poster has been DRY MOUNTED! I considered having it linen backed (and then framed) but that was too cost prohibitive for an Alien quad that while in perfectly presentable order was not as clean or sharp as other examples I've had or seen.

Other factors taken into account were that Alien quads are not spectacularly rare; in fact they are relatively common and not of earth shattering value so I went with the dry mount option if nothing else to reduce but not remove entirely the very developed and advanced folds this quad had. Now the purists may - in fact will - probably cry.... Dry mounting is not an archival process and it destroys the value? Subjectively those may well be or are an issue(s) but this poster is specifically targeted at someone who would like it in a'forever' home and isn't too concerned with framing and/or backing preferences or re-saleable value. It is for COLLECTION only as I couldn't countenance the risk of any transit damage by RM or any other postal agent.

If however you wanted to instruct your own private COURIER and at your expense to come and get it that's fine: I'll make it as secure and protected as much as I possibly can but I cannot - won't - accept any liability once it's out of my possession.
