Original London cinema and then film club, 30 x 40 inch quad for the 1973 film'Enter the Dragon', starring Bruce Lee. History: This film poster was discovered in Tuffnel Park, North London in an old chest and had formally been used to advertise the film at a Saturday cinema club somewhere in the Archway-Camden Road area. It is totally original and other than the damage I shall outline below it is pretty good, with a nice deep golden-orange colour and all parts are present.
It has been left in an original condition and I haven't messed with it other than to take the photos for this ad'. Condition: The poster has been written on, in the top right hand corner and along the top as a way of advertising the club and telling the kids the price.
It's also been folded at some stage and this has made it tear along the fold, quite a long one on the right hand said but not as long on the right. The corners etc are tatty but are all more or less there. There's one or two water marks but the eye isn't drawn to them. The main restoration will be to those folds, tears and to get that writing out. I was going to Sellotape the poster up but decided against it as I know there's special tapes and methods for getting writing out, blocking colour back in etc, etc. It's got London film club authenticity as it is or it'd restore to good condition if someone knew what they were doing. I'll furnish more details of it's history if I can and will answer all questions etc. The listing price is a guide and if it sells I shall put it carefully in a wide poster tube making sure it can't joggle about.
