ENTER THE DRAGON Original Movie Poster, British Quad, C8.5 Very Fine/Near Mint

This is the Original (1sh) British Quad movie poster ENTER THE DRAGON. It was used by Warner Brothers to promote this movie when it was released in 1973. It is not a reprint nor a reproduction. The movie stars Bruce Lee, John Saxton, Jim Kelly, Ahna Carri, Shih Kien, Robert Wall, and Angela Mao. It was directed by Robert Clouse.

This restored movie poster is rolled and linen backed and measures 30" x 40". With the linen, it measures 31.75" x 42.60". Prior to restoration the poster had been Folded.

Most original movie posters pre 1985 are Folded. This is not considered a flaw or defect. This original movie poster is graded C8.5 Very Fine to Near Mint. Original movie posters are graded as follows from the top down: C10 (Mint), C9 (Near Mint), C8 (Very Fine), C7 (Fine/Very Fine), C6 (Fine or Very Good), C5 (Good to Very Good), C4 (Good), etc.

The pre-restoration grade was C7.5 Very Fine Minus. Inor wear along the edges, fold wear, a chip in the top right corner, and pinholes in the corners. Also corrected were relatively obtrusive stains on the poster, mostly found in the top left and top right quadrants of the poster. Several minor, post-restoration flaws exist as described above, but a normal viewing distance they are not obtrusive to the appearance of the poster.

Other than that, this poster now has a clean appearance and is immediately ready for framing and display. The colors are solid and the image is dramatic.

We believe that the original British Quad movie poster ENTER THE DRAGON has excellent investment value. The different size of the British Quad (30" x 40") from a normal U. One Sheet (27" x 41") and the high grade of the poster (C8.5) add to its investment value. The fact that this original is now rolled and not Folded has substantially eliminated the Fold lines. ENTER THE DRAGON is an iconic movie and it certainly has stood the test of time, making this relatively rare original British Quad of ENTER THE DRAGON highly sought after by collectors and fans alike.
