BEATLES - A HARD DAYS NIGHT ORIGINAL UK QUAD MOVIE POSTER (1964). This is an original 1964 movie poster that was displayed outside a cinema in North Wales at the time of the film's release. I bought it off the owner of the cinema when it closed down roughly 30 years ago. I framed it clamped between two sheets of glass for about 6 years and then it was rolled and placed in a tube where it has remained since. It hasn't had any restoration, touch-ups or linen backing. Just a nice clean original example.

The photos are a very good representation of its condition. It does have four very small issues: There is a 4mm hole in the top right corner (see images) - at some point this has had an adhesive strip attaching a piece of paper in the same colour as the surrounding paper placed on the back.

The colour has now faded on that small piece so would need to be addressed if this is a problem for you. There is also a small tear on the upper left of the poster (again, see images) - the paper is all present here but the tear is faintly visible. I guess this and the small hole are where it was attached to the lightbox outside the cinema.

There is a 4mm tear on the left edge at one of the folds. There is another 5mm tear on the left edge. Other than these it's probably as good an example as you'll find. It has been folded and unfolded maybe six or seven times in its life. There is virtually no wear to the folds. This is a great example of an increasingly rare and desirable vintage Beatles item. The price of original Beatles concert posters has gone completely insane lately and these original AHDN UK quads are currently a very sought-after investment piece.
