Rare 1963 ORIGINAL SWORD IN THE STONE Vintage Movie Poster UK Quad FIRST RELEASE

  

Always please ask if you are not sure. Here is a wonderful very rare original 1963 FIRST RELEASE movie poster for THE SWORD IN THE STONE. The poster measures 30 inch by 40 inches, 101cm x 76cm.

The poster is in quite poor condition although it still looks amazing. The bottom left and right corners are in pretty good condition, just slightly creased and a little grubby, the top left and right have been carefully taped on the back to strengthen them as they had small holes and tears. There are also more small tears around the edges of the poster, please see close-up photos. There was some pink felt tip writing on the back of the poster that has run at some point, please see last two photos, and where it has bled through to the front of the poster it has been covered up with some liquid paper tape reasonably discretely, please see last photo. As can be seen the poster is quite age worn and quite grubby in places but that possibly only adds to its charm and obvious age and authenticity. So it is definitely not in very good or excellent condition and if you're looking for a nicely presented first release poster best to look for another one. But having said all that it still displays beautifully and is priced accordingly. The FRAME is NOT INCLUDED.
