STAR WARS 1979 ORIGINAL BRITISH QUAD MOVIE POSTER 30x40 ACADEMY AWARD EXC COND

  

Vintage original British movie poster. British QUAD size, oblong, approx 40" wide x 30" high. Later edition showing Academy Award wins under the movie title.

Poster is bright shiny and clean as seen from front. There is very light wear to the corners and edges and a couple of small creases near the corners, some very light discoloration around the edges from age, only visible from the back because of the dark color of the poster art. The poster was stored rolled, but at some point some weight was allowed to rest on the roll, so the poster has a vertical curling pattern that will take some time / effort to flatten out. Luckily, there is no actual creasing to the poster from this, as seen in pics it is just wavy and not creased. On a scale of 1 to 10, this poster rates a SOLID 8 OR BETTER, noting the need to flatten it out.
